PRESIDENT, DANGOTE HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS CO-CHAIR OF NEXT YEAR'S ANNUAL MEETING OF THE WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM

President of the Dangote group, Aliko Dangote has been appointed as as co-chair of next year's annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos-Kloster, Swizerland.
The executive Chairman, World Economic Forum, Prof. Klaus Schwab, in a letter inviting the business mogul to co-chair the sitting, said the WEF was to belief that Dangote participation would contribute significantly to the substance of discussion.
Schwab said in the letter, "The discussion aim to stimulate an unparalleled global dialogue among the relevant leaders from the government, business, academia, civil society and the media.
"In this unprecedented times, i feel that the co-chair, you will contribute significantly to the substance and relevance to the exchanges. You are well positioned to take on this role. Co-chair you would in principle consist of your presence and participation in activities to be defined in you,"
the letter reads.
