2014 WORLD CUP VENUE IN BRAZIL CATCHES FIRE
AFP- A small fire broke out on Friday at one of the stadium under construction for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil authorities adding, there was no injury."The fire reportedly broke out on Friday afternoon at the construction site of the Pantanal Arena was quickly controlled by the construction crews and fire fighters," said a statement from the state World Cup headquater
"The incident will have no consequence in the continuation of the project, it added.
The fire broke out in a batch of uninstalled polystyrene insulation panel intended for the roof of the building.
The Pantanal Arena, in Brazil's west-central city of Cuiaba, is one of 12 World Cup intended venue.
