14 YEAR OLD RAPE VICTIM GIRL FORCED BY INDIAN POLICE TO STRIP OFF

A 14-year-old girl was allegedly asked to strip in front of cops at a police station in Kushinagar district of eastern Utter Pradesh to convince them that her allegation of rape were genuine and not faked.
This happened after the initial attempts of the girl's father to get the complaint registered proved futile after he failed to pay the amount he was asked to pay to register the complaint and arrest the accused which is worth Rs 50,000
The incident came to the notice of the public on Tuesday when the family lodge a complain to the superintendent of police of Kushinagar accusing the in-charge of a local police station of demanding Rs 50,000 to register a rape compliant and humiliating the girl in front of her family for failing to meet his demand.
As per the complaint, when the family failed to meet the demands of the police officer, he asked the girl to follow him to a separate room where he locked the door from the inside and asked the girl to strip, that he wanted to know if she was saying the truth about her rapped issue.
"He took me into a room and closed the door and told me to remove my cloth", the girl was outed in her complaint. The police officer allegedly abused the girl and her parent and chased them away without filling First Information Report.(FIR)

Nigeria's army said on Thursday it was trying to know the authenticity of a video that appeared to show the leader of the Boko Haram mocking the report that he may have been killed.
A security task force last month said wanted Islamist insurgent commander Abubakar Shekau "may have died" from a gunshot wound sustained after with clash with soldiers in June 30.
In a video seen by AFP Wednesday, a man resembling Shekau was seen in a video taunted the regional military spokesman who suggested he had been killed.
"We cannot say at this juncture whether the claim is true or false until we authenticate the veracity of the video", army spokesman Ibrahim Attahiru told AFP.
In the Video the Boko Haram commander told the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, President of the United State Barrack Obama, Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth, and President Franciso Hollande should all hang their head in shame for faking his dead story.
"Sagir Musa, should hang his head in shame, President Jonathan (of Nigeria) should hang his head in shame, President Obama should hang his head in shame, and President Franciso Hollande should hang his head in Shame, Queen Elizabeth (of England) should hang her head in shame.
"They said i am dead, but here i am. The world should know that i am alive and will only die at the appointed time . Everybody should be judged according to the dictates of his conscience.
"What i am doing is written in the Holy Qur'an and the Hadith and i will not stop. I challenge all the cleric in the world to question my deeds. Those underrating my capacity should have a rethink. I will never allow democracy to thrive.

A baboon made the most of his fifteen minutes of fame by grabbing a female reporter's breast live on air, before looking straight to the camera and giving it a grin.
Sabrina Rodriguez, who presented for FOX 40 in Sacramento, California, was shooting a teaser for a report on the Lodi Grape Festival on September 12 when the cheeky monkey seized his chance and clamped his paw on her right breast.
Though Ms Rodriguez carried on her piece not unruffled and attempted to make a joke out of it, telling viewers,  'he's trying to cop a little bit of a feel.'
Despite all her efforts to remove the baboon hand from her breast, Mickey refused to remove his paw, and, looking rather pleased with himself, continue groping her as she wrapped up the broadcast.

ACTOR O.J SIMPSON CAUGHT STEALING COOKIES FROM PRISON CAFETERIA

Former American footballer and actor O.J Simpson was recently caught stealing from the cafeteria of his Nevada prison - something which is strictly forbidden.
According to source, guards noticed the 66-year-old hiding something under his prison clothes as he walked back to his cell after lunch.
When they quizzed him, he revealed a stash of more than a dozen oatmeal cookies, which were then seized.
'O.J stood there with a goofy grin on his face as the guard kept digging inside his shirt and throwing the cookies on the floor,' the source told The National Enquirer.

15-YEARS-OLD SCHOOLBOY ROB BANK WITH FAKE GUN.

AFP- A British schoolboy described as "model pupil" on Tuesday admitted robbing a bank using a fake gun.
The 15-years-old who cannot be named due to some legal reason, held up a branch of Barclays bank in Liverpool northwest England, on Friday and made off with two thousand pounds.
His mother turned him to the police after finding stack of cash and the fake weapon in his bedroom.
The mother wept at the back of the courtroom as her son pleaded guilty.
The boy pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery and one count of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and was granted conditional bail.
He will be sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on October 15

SOUTH AFRICAN WOMAN HAS REMARKABLE BOND WITH HER PET LION

Now a year and six month old, the white lion seen in this picture with the lady, was adopted by the lady, Annel Synman when he was just a tiny cub.
The 31 years old from the Waterberg region of South-Africa, welcome him last year to her home in the spring. She shares everything unconventionally with her pet.
Annel, who also run a guest house has hand reared dozens of animal including six several  kittens, a cheetah cub, five lions, a white lion and a leopard in her spare time.
The animal lover said some people struggled to adjust to her starling choice of pet.
"The neighbour are amaze by him and i often see them driving past and slowing down to catch a glimpse of him." she said
"And relationship used to be a challenge as there are often some jealousy issues about who was going to snuggle up with who on the couch."
She added: "There are times when it is difficult to do day-to-day things but i do manage to live a normal life- well normal for me anyway."

POLITICAL FACE-OFF IN IMO STATE

Nigeria politics, where friends become foes, where families become strangers. This is no difference between these two friends, Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha and Senator Chris Anyanwu, who are now in loggerhead.
I remember how Senator Chris used her station, Hot Fm 100.5 to destabilized all the crafty method devised  by the opposition party to ruin the gubernatorial election in Imo state.
The Debate on air, where people viewed their opinion, called the parties delegate and made their choice.  Now Governor of Imo state has cross carpet to APC, and knowing of the rumours that the Senator is interested in his seat, they became arch enemies. Lots of story flying in the air.
This is the one i think the Governor went too far, trying to demolish the building of the radio station "HOT FM 100.5" is taking the fight to the extreme. Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) have marked the building of HOT FM for demolition saying it is an illegal structure, and it is not positioned according to the master plan of Imo state. Hmmmm.. Why should this be now, all this years it was legal, now it is illegal. Where this fight will take us to only time will tell. God will help us all come 2015, the way this politician are taken this things to, only God will save us.
Please Owelle, don't destroy Hot Fm for us, we love that station, it brought Imo state to the lime light, demolishing it is taking us back to where we left.

IN A DEAL OF $4.7 BILLION BLACKBERRY GOT SOLD OUT

Fairfax Financial Holding has agreed to acquire BlackBerry in a deal worth $4.7 billion, both company announced Monday.
The Toronto-based financial holding conglomerate is paying $9 per share for the beleaguered mobile company - a premium of about 9%.  Shares of BlackBerry were trading at $8.23 per share before a freeze was initiated.  Ahead of the acquisition, Firefox owned approximately 10% of BlackBerry common share.
News of the take over came after two days BlackBerry announced it was cutting 4,500 jobs -about 35% of its workforce.- and taking the loss to nearly $1 billion in the second quarters.
How are the great fallen. At its peak at the mid-2007, Blackberry was worth more than $100 billion. The company only fetched 2/3 the price of Nokia, which Microsoft acquire a year ago for $7.2 million.
