THE CHURCH CANNOT INTERFERE WITH GAY AND LESBIAN-POPE FRANCIS

The Pope said the church has the right to express its opinions but not to "interfere spiritually" in the lives of gays and lesbians.  expanding on explosive comment he made in July about not judging homosexuals.
In a wide-ranging interview publish on Thursday, the pope also said women must play a key role in Church decisions and brush off critics who say she should be more vocal about fighting gay marriage and abortion.
"Moreover if the church refuses to find "new balance" its spiritual and political mission , the pope warned, its moral foundation will "fall like a horse of cards." The interview that was released by Jesuit magazines in several different languages and 16 countries on Thursday offers perhaps the most expansive and in-dept view Pope Francis' vision for the Roman Catholic.
Pope Francis said some one once asked him if he "approved" of homosexuality. "I replied with another question," he said. "Tell me when God looks at a gay person, does he endorse the living of this person with love, or reject and condemn this person? 'We must always consider the person. Here we enter into the mystery of a human being."
The Pope said, "the church's teaching on those issue are clear (gay marriage and practices.), so what else are there to say?," it is not necessary to talk about this issue all the time, He concluded
