AFP- A British schoolboy described as "model pupil" on Tuesday admitted robbing a bank using a fake gun.
The 15-years-old who cannot be named due to some legal reason, held up a branch of Barclays bank in Liverpool northwest England, on Friday and made off with two thousand pounds.
His mother turned him to the police after finding stack of cash and the fake weapon in his bedroom.
The mother wept at the back of the courtroom as her son pleaded guilty.
The boy pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery and one count of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and was granted conditional bail.
He will be sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on October 15
