COURT BANS BRYMO FROM MUSIC OVER DISPUTE WITH CHOCOLATE CITY
Chocolate City has got a legal injunction against Brymo who just released his 3rd album- Merchant Dealer and Slaves - restraining him "from recording or performing artist through or for the benefits of any person(s) or organisation other than Chocolate City pending the determination of the suit against him.
Brymo left Chocolate City early this year, after having personal concern about his career.
After he quit the label, he met up with his producer, Mikky Me, and together they created a new album (Merchant, Dealer and Slaves).
Brymo also signed a distribution deal with Spinlet, giving them distribution right to his new album.
Chocolate City insists that Brymo contract remains valid until 2016.
COPY OF THE COURT ORDER
Brymo tweeted after the order.
If an artiste refuses to honor his/her contract, it's the duty of the label to sue.. I cannot sue you for breaching your own contract..Jesse Jagz has his own words for Chocolate City.
