NII ORDARTEY LAMPTEY, FORMER GHANAIAN FOOTBALLER STAR, JUST DISCOVERED HIS 3 KIDS ARE NOT HIS AFTER 20 YEARS
Former
Ghana International football star, Nii Ordartey Lamptey, has just discovered
shockingly that none of the 3 children, he has fathered with his wife are not
his biological children after over 20 years of marriage, XYZ News can confirm.
The ex-footballer suspected the wife of infidelity and asked for
a DNA test on all the children only to discover that he is not the biological
father of all the three children.
According to reports, the wife known as Gloria is now claiming
that the man is infertile, and that it was Lamptey who suggested for an artificial insemination.
The
former Anderlecht and Aston Villa star has reportedly filed for a divorce from
his wife who he claims has deceived him for good 20 years.
According to reports, Nii Odartey Lamptey has suspected his wife
of infidelity for several years, but decided to stay in the marriage out of
love and the chain of businesses they own together.
A source close to the former Ghana star revealed to XYZ News
that Nii Odartey Lamptey has on several occasions ‘fought’ with his wife to
make her change her cheating ways.
During Nii Odartey Lamptey’s career, he played as a striker from
1990 until 2008 notably for Aston Villa, PSV Eindhoven, Coventry City and the
Ghana national football team.
He is known foremost for his erratic career, in which he became
a superstar as a teenager and then suffered a long string of failures which
burnt him out well before his time.
Lamptey
has been used as a byword for a cautionary tale of putting too much pressure on
young players to be successful.

ANAMBRA GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION: WILLIE OBIANO DECLARED WINNER BY INEC AMIST PROTEST FROM APC.
Amist
voter apathy and protests that followed the November 16 governorship election
and the supplementary election in Anambra State, the candidate of the All
Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr Willie Obiano, has been declared winner.
The agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Labour
Party (LP) governorship candidates in the Anambra State governorship election
were conspicuously absent at the supplementary election held in 209 polling
units across 16 local government areas, yesterday.
This is just as the poll was visited by poor voter turnout in
most areas.
In most areas where the elections took place, low voters turnout
was apparent though electoral materials from the Independent National Electoral
commission (INEC) arrived relatively early unlike what obtained last Saturday,
whereby late arrival of material threatened the polls in some polling units.
However,
the trio of Senator Chris Ngige of the APC; Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah of the Labour
Party and Comrade Tony Nwoye of the PDP have described the low turnout as a
justification of their calls for the cancellation of the election.
Though the three parties had stated that they would not
participate in the election, some of their members were seen around polling
units. At the Polling Unit 016, Igweamaka Primary School, Aguluzoigbo, members
of the APC including the chairman of the party in the local government, who
refused to disclose his name, said that they were there to monitor the process
not to participate while at the Polling Unit 006 and 007, Chukwurah Primary
School, Abatete, agents of the PDP and the LP were seen participating in the
election.
In Idemili North Local Government Area, which has the highest
number of registered voters, turnout at many polling units reflected that only
11 to 17 voters had showed up to vote.
Similarly, in one of the polling units at Oyi Local Government,
Sunday Tribune gathered that nine voters showed up to vote out of about 3,000
registered voters, with people in Onitsha North and Onitsha South council areas
people opening their shops and going about their respective businesses.
Reacting to the poor turnout Senator Ngige told reporters that
it was an indication that the electorate has lost hope in the electoral
process, adding that the electorate couldn’t have turned up to vote in view of
the charade of November 16, 2013.
In the same vein, Media Aide to Dr. Ubah, Mr. Afam Ilouno told
newsmen that “you do not need anything more to convince INEC and Nigerians that
Anambra people have been raped. They shown that they have no confidence in what
is going on and it is expected that the electoral commission should learn a
lesson by starting all over again.”

FLYING WIZARD CRASH LANDED DURING A VIGIL AT OKRUDU RIVER KAIMEBRE IN GHANA.
Ghana
– A man who is belived to be in his 70s, claimed to be a wizard, was on
Wednesday found on the banks of the Okrudu River at Kaimebre, a settlement near
the Kasoa New Market in the Central Region.
The man, who gave his name as Charles Atta, looked frail, pale
and bore protruding breasts like that of a teenage girl.
His body was smeared with mud from the bank of the river where
he was found by two brothers, Liberty Obeng and Innocent Obeng, who claimed
they found the strange man crying for help.
The two brothers told Daily Guide reporters that the
self-acclaimed wizard confessed to them that he was in the company of
colleagues, including a medical doctor and were flying to Cape Coast for a
meeting when he was forced down.
According
to him, they were flying over a church where an all-night vigil was being held
when he crash- landed at Servant Kings International School.
“When we asked him where he was coming from, Atta told us that
he was from Akuapem Akropong but was flying to Cape Coast to attend a meeting
for witches and wizards,” he said.
Charles also confessed that the two puffy protrusions on his
chest were breasts taken from his 16-year- old granddaughter and that he
normally borrowed them for his night activities.
The two brothers said they were initially confused and
bewildered by the weird sight of the man, and not knowing what to do him took
him to Pink FM, a local radio station at Kasoa for help.
When the strange announcement was made on radio, hundreds of
people besieged the premises of the radio station to see the suspected wizard.
Upon hearing the news, the Kasoa District Police dispatched a
number of police personnel to the station to save the victim from being
lynched.
Superintendent Samuel Tabril Punobyin told the paper that the
police did not investigate spiritual matters and that the suspected wiz-ard
could therefore not be charged.
He said the police would look for the family erf the man and
hand him over to them. Charles Atta is still in the custody .of the Kasoa
Police.

GOV OSHIOMOHOLE TELL A WIDOW CRYING TO 'GO AND DIE
In a
video in Youtube Edo state Governor Adams Oshiomhole was caught telling a
crying widow ‘go and die’ during a sanitation exercise in Benin City with some
state officials recently.
The woman was hawking on the road side which is illegal in the
state but to tell her to go and die after she knelt in front of him, crying and
begging him not to seize her little means of livelihood, is just cold-hearted.
This can best be described as the most shocking remark made by
the Governor to a poor widow.
He said: “You’re a widow, go and die!”

THE NEW PDP AND AC AGREED NEW POWER SHARING DEAL;DEFECTING LAWMAKERS' SEAT SAFE.
Prince
Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, the National Publicity Secretary of the just breakaway
faction of the PDP, has denied a press statement credited to him stating that
the merger between the group and APC, was still on hold.
Eze categorically denied issuing the statement, which was widely
circulated by media outlets. He also added that a Memorandum of Understanding,
MOU, with the All Progressives Congress was signed.
Find the full statement by the party below:
“It has been brought to my notice that a statement denying the
merger between the New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) and the All Progressives
Congress (APC) has been credited to me and my office. I was quoted as saying
that the MOU between the two parties is yet to be signed and because of this
the merger is yet to be effected.”
“I
wish to state that no such statement was at any time issued by me or my office.
Instead, I wish to reiterate that the MOU between us and APC has been duly
signed by both the nPDP National Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, and the
National Chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande.”
“In this regard, the general public should disregard any
statement from whatever source which tries to give the impression that the
merger between us and APC is in danger. The truth in that the merger is waxing
stronger by the day and that our resolve to save our fledgling democracy is
unshakable.”
“As we stated in our press statement of yesterday, President
Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP leadership should come to terms with the fact
that PDP is now an opposition political party and Jonathan should start writing
his handover notes as APC is fully set to take over the Aso Rock Presidential
Villa in 2015 so as to give Nigerians the dividends of democracy they have been
yearning for.”
“Meanwhile, we have read reports that members of the National
Assembly that follow us to APC will lose their seats. This cannot happen as it
will be at variance with the relevant sections of our Constitution and
Electoral Laws that guarantee members of the National Assembly safety once
their parent party is in crisis as PDP is at the moment.”
For the avoidance of doubt, there is no danger of their losing
their seats as made clear by sections 68(1)(g) and 109(1)(g) of the 1999
Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) in relation to the
status of members of a legislative house (state and national) who defect from
the political parties from which they were elected to join another political
party.
The wordings of the aforesaid sections are in agreement with
those of sections 64(1)(g) of the 1979 Constitution of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria given judicial interpretation by the Supreme Court in the case of
FEDECO Vs Goni (1983) FNR 203. This case was argued by the best legal minds of
that era (Chief FRA Williams SAN and GOK Ajayi SAN). The court held that such a
member keeps his seat if his defection is as a result of a division or split in
his party.
In this regard particularly now that we have the majority in the
National Assembly our members in the National Assembly should express no fear
as they are well protected and covered by the Constitution of the Federal
Republic seeing that Alh Bamanga Tukur and his cohorts have succeeded to split
the PDP into old and new PDP and are free to join any party of their choice.
Long live NPDP!
Long live Nigeria!!!

UNIVERSITIES ORDERED TO REOPEN BY PRO-CHANCELLOR.
The
Committee of Pro-Chancellors of Federal Universities on Tuesday called for the
immediate re-opening of all shut down universities across the country.
This is contained in a communiqué signed by the committee’s
Chairman, Prof. Kimse Okoko, released in Abuja on Tuesday.
The communiqué was issued at the end of the committee’s meeting
to discuss the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities
(ASUU) and other issues affecting the Nigerian University System.
It
stated that the call for the re-opening of the universities was unanimously
agreed by all Pro-chancellors in the interest of the country.
The communique directed all the Vice-Chancellors to comply with
the decision.
It commended the efforts by the Federal Government to address
the major issues that led to the strike and lauded the personal intervention of
President Goodluck Jonathan in the resolution of the dispute.
It also expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the
referendum conducted in all the branches of ASUU nationwide, which voted 60-40
in favour of the suspension of the ongoing strike.
The communique explained that the committee’s decision was based
on the negative impact the strike had had on the university system, students
and the parents.
It, however, appealed for the understanding from the leadership and members of ASUU to ensure speedy restoration of academic activities on campuses.

APC AND PDP MERGER, PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN ASKED TO GO.
Late
this morning, at about 11:46, the National Chairman of the New Peoples
Democratic Party (nPDP), Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, formally announced the
merger of the party with the All Progressives Congress (APC). The merger was
contained in a communiqué which Alhaji Baraje read to journalists at the end of
a meeting between the leadership of New PDP and that of the APC held at the
Kano Governor’s Lodge in Abuja. The communiqué signed by Bisi Akande the APC
National Chairman and Kawu Abubakar Baraje the National Chairman of NPDP reads,
“A meeting of the leadership of All Progressives Congress, APC, and the new PDP
met this morning at the residence of the Kano State Governor, Dr. Rabiu Musa
Kwankwaso, in Abuja and after exhaustive deliberations the two parties agreed
to merge in order to rescue our fledgling democracy and the nation” .
With this development, the G7 Governors of New PDP, namely,
Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Aliyu
Wamakko (Sokoto), Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara) and Rotimi
Amaechi (Rivers), are now members of the APC. The merger thus shoots up the
number of APC State Governors to 18 while PDP’s shrinks to 16, with All
Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Labour Party having one governor each. A
similar permutation exists in the National Assembly where we now have the
majority with PDP and its allies in minority.
The
simple meaning of this is that APC is now the majority party in the country
while PDP has become a minority party. In the circumstances, President Goodluck
Ebele Jonathan must now start writing his handover notes because his ambition
to maouevre the party structures so as to get a third term in office in 2015
has suddenly collapsed.
What a sudden change of fortune! What a sad day for the PDP, a
party which we laboured to build, which was viciously taken away from us but
which, out of our great love for it, we did everything humanly possible to save
but were frustrated by the unpatriotic elements that have usurped the
leadership of the party.
Nigerians could recall that several meetings had been held between
the APC leaders and the leaders of the New PDP. The APC had visited each of our
seven New PDP governors in their states to convince them to join its fold but
all these notwithstanding while the PDP Leadership on their own side were
plotting on daily basis on how to frustrate us out of the party we suffered to
nurture.
The fact remains that we did all within our powers to reconcile
with PDP to no avail and sadly our dear President allowed the hawks within the
Presidency and PDP Leadership to convince him to abort our last Sunday’s
meeting that would have brought a last peace to our party which the PDP
leadership under Alhaji Bamanga Tukur frustrated, so we have no other option
than to formally announce the death and burial of PDP. Day and night we cried out,
begging whoever loved PDP to join us to rescue the party from imminent doom but
we were conveniently ignored and abused. Just last night, we issued the last in
a series of passionate appeals to PDP Elders to take urgent steps to save the
troubled party in the face of their unbelievable silence in the face of the
chain of developments instigated by factional National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga
Tukur, which has put the party at the edge of the precipice.
Now, we have reached the stage that we can only say: “PDP, your
sinking ship has been abandoned to you! You brought this misfortune upon
yourself, now you must bear it alone!”
As for us, we are happy to belong to the APC, where our value is
appreciated, where we are made to feel truly wanted, and where we can now join
forces with like minds in our struggle to liberate Nigeria from PDP’s misrule,
which is soon to end.
Among those at the Tuesday’s historical merger meeting were APC
leader and former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu; APC National Chairman, Bisi
Akande; Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso: former Kwara governor and serving
senator, Bukola Saraki; former Nasarawa governor and serving senator, Abdullahi
Adamu; former Bayelsa governor, Timipre Sylva; and Adamawa State Governor,
Murtala Nyako.
Others were former Speaker of the House of Representatives,
Aminu Masari; Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi; National Secretary of the
PDP, Olagunsoye Oyinlola; former Abia governor, Ogbonnaya Onu; former PDP vice
chairman, Sam Jaja; Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed; and Niger State
Governor, Babangida Aliyu.

ASUU GIVES FG THREE CONDITIONS TO END STRIKE.
University
lecturers have finally agreed to suspend their five months old strike, The
Nation learnt yesterday.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has given three
condition before President Goodluck Jonathan today. If the terms tabled are
acceptable to the Federal Government, the union will call off the strike.
The ASUU leadership has banned its local chapters and zonal
chairmen from talking to the media until after the session with the President.
ASUU President Dr. Nasir Issa Fagge and other leaders of the
union were being expected in Abuja last night.
According
to a source, who was part of the ASUU session at Mambayya House in Kano, the
conditions are: •commitment from the President that any review or
reconsideration or renegotiation of the 2009 Agreement will not substantially
affect the pact which is the cause of the ongoing strike;
•immediate
payment of all outstanding salary arrears and allowances of varsity teachers
without victimization; and
•a
written commitment from the President that the Federal Government will commit
N225billion annually to the funding of universities for the next four years.
There
is a fourth condition, which is said to be “personal” to ASUU, bordering on the
need to be wary of gradual loss of public sympathy.
The
union leaders were said to have acknowledged public goodwill for the strike and
the need to avert any action that could erode such confidence.
The
source said: “Our leaders are meeting with the President on Monday to table
these conditions. Once the President accepts these three terms, the strike will
be called off.
“In
principle, members voted about 60-40 per cent to call off the strike, but they
added a caveat – that ASUU leaders should extract a commitment (signed and
sealed) from the President.
The
union is said to have insisted on the three conditions because during talks
with the Federal Government, it was apparent that the government wanted a
renegotiation of the 2009 Agreement.
“If
ASUU had accepted to renegotiate the entire Agreement , it means there will be
no basis for the ongoing strike. The worst that can happen is either having the
abridged version of the 2009 Agreement or a phased implementation of the
document,” the source added.
The
Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State became at the
weekend the third institution to break ranks with the striking union.
It
asked its students to return to the campus today. Lecture are to start on
December 2, according to the Registrar, Mr. Bamidele Olotu.
Enugu
State University of Technology (ESUT), Enugu, and the Ibrahim Badamosi
University, Lapai, in Niger State had earlier directed the reopening of the
schools.
The
registrar directed students to begin their registration on the school portal
immediately.
AAUA
Student Union President Julius Adeniyi welcomed the resumption plan and assured
his fellow students of a hitch-free semester.
He
said: “We are dying and wasting away our time at home; and I am backing my Vice
Chancellor on the resumption date. We are coming in and nothing will happen

ONDO STATE HOUSE OF REP. MEMBER DIED AFTER SLEEPING WITH HIS FEMALE BANK ACCOUNT OFFICER
Hon. Raphael Oloye Nomiye,
who's representing Ondo State in the House of Reps, until his dead, was said to
be having s*x with his female Account Officer in his bedroom when he dropped
dead..
Top security sources said he was having a sexual affair with a female banker in his private residence located at Gwarinpa Estate in Abuja when the unfortunate incident happened.
When Daily Trust visited the deceased’s residence at Second Avenue in Gwarinpa Estate, neighbours said the banker, who managed his accounts, rushed down from the one-storey building to inform the policemen on guard at the house that “oga just fell down and is vomiting blood.”
They said when the policemen ran upstairs and rushed into his room only to find him laying on the floor with a towel tied round his waist, while he bled from the mouth. He was then quickly taken to a private clinic on 3rd Avenue within the estate in his official Toyota Camry 2012 car.
It was further learnt that doctors at clinic declined to attend to him, saying it was a “serious” matter, he was then rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja, where the doctors on duty later pronounced him dead.
Police sources disclosed that the female banker who was "servicing" him, is now in police custody at Gwarinpa Police Station, Abuja.
She had denied having sexual affair with the lawmaker before his death. But she has now changed her story after doctors at the National Hospital conducted an examination on the corpse, which confirmed that the late federal lawmaker, Hon Nomiye, had slept with a woman shortly before his demise.
After the test result came out, the banker admitted to Police interrogators that she had actually slept with him and had helped him to clean up, following which he went into the bathroom, where he suddenly fell and began to vomit blood.
Police investigators who inspected the lawmaker’s house had succeeded in recovering some items, including a bottle of water, which the deceased lawmaker had drank from, some tissue papers and the clothes the man had worn earlier in the day.
When Daily Trust visited the banker’s private residence located at Kado Estate in Abuja, two of her friends, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said she and Hon Nomiye were friends.
Investigation revealed that although late Nomiye was married, his wife and kids do not live with him in Abuja.

ASUU STRIKE: ASUU DECIDES TO KEEP SILENT UNTIL IT MET WITH THE PRESIDENT.
Nigeria’s
striking Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) after a two-day National
Executive Council Meeting (NEC) on Saturday in Kano, resolved not to say
anything on the lingering strike until it met with President Goodluck Jonathan.
President Jonathan is due home on Sunday night, after attending
a summit in London with investors. A serious stomach pain forced the president
to skip the Thursday opening of the meeting.
ASUU’s meeting was held at an undisclosed venue, away from the
ASUU secretariat, NAN reported.
However,
a reliable source in the association who spoke on Saturday, in Kano, said:
‘’ASUU has decided to meet with President Jonathan before making whatever
decision they took during the meeting public.’’
The source added that 60 per cent of the members wanted the
strike called off while the remaining 40 per cent wanted it to continue.
The NEC meeting was schedule to hold two weeks ago but was
postponed following the death of a former ASUU President, Professor Festus
Iyayi in a road accident in Lokoja.
ASUU embarked on a national strike that has shut down all
Nigeria’s government owned universities, since July.
The academics wanted government to implement an agreement
reached in 2009, which would improve funding for infrastructure in the
universities and welfare of the teachers.
