AVIATION MINISTER STELLA ODUAH ATTACKED BY GUNMEN - POLICE

The FCT Police confirmed on Monday in Abuja that the Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah's car was fired at by gunmen.
The Spokesperson of the command, Altine Daniel, told the News Agency of Nigeria that the incident occured at about 10p.m on  Friday.
She said the minister was not in her car.when the incident took place.
Ms Daniel, who happened to be the Deputy Superintendent of Police said that the matter was reported to the Police on Monday at about 5:30pm.
According to her report some metal object were found in the minister's car which do not look like the conventional bullet.
"The object will be subjected to ballistic test," Ms Daniel said
Also commenting on the incident, the Special Adviser to the minister, Joe Obi, said the attack took place at the Ministers' Hill, Maitama Abuja
"Fortunately the Minister was not in the car at the time the attack took palce.
"An official report has been made to the police and the police are currently investigating it."Mr Obi said.
